Local Presence

Local Presence will make your calls and SMS text messages more likely to be accepted because they will originate from the same area code as the destination number, or as close nearby as possible. It can also increase the volume of SMS text messages you can successfully send without triggering the carrier spam filters.

Local Presence brings these features to your turboDial app:

• An increase in your Campaign SMS queue limits to allow you to send at least 1000 SMS text messages per hour, rather than the standard 180 per hour.
• All Campaign SMS text messages are sent using the Local Presence feature.
• Your outbound calls can optionally use Local Presence – choose to enable or disable it for each call
• Your manually sent SMS messages can optionally use Local Presence – choose to enable or disable it for each SMS

The Local Presence add-on price is only $50/month and that covers all Users in your turboDial account. Also, Twilio will charge $1/mo for each number you purchase to include in Local Presence. There are about 300 area codes in North America; if you acquire numbers for all of them your Twilio charges would be $300/mo.
